The Overview: Robust site design from UX to content development, showcasing revealing and raw content with major NBA stars. The layout is designed to speak to our photo responsive audience and the content is created to deliver one of a kind articles and videos that keep our users coming back for more on a regular basis. 

The Ask: Create an ownable site on NBA.com sponsored by Amex that provides a reason for users to return to the site. Develop a fresh, modern platform that positions Amex as thebrand that provides access to the NBA.

The Challenge: Access to players is limited during basketball season. Amex is a mega brand that struggles to create an authentic connection with their partnerships.

The Solution:

Design: The outcome was a robust, modern site design that leveraged modern functionality and aesthetics, including parallax navigation, geotargeted videos and articles, photographically rich layout and long scrolling site design to reinforce the depth of content.

Content: We created relevant content that leveraged top tier NBA talent including Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Rajon Rondo, and Andrew Wiggins to name a few. The content utilizes our key player’s huge personalities, large fan base on social media, contests to create user generated content, player fan incentives, unscripted shenanigans and hilarious video series with unexpected scenarios like putting the biggest NBA personalities at a dude ranch.
